PAYMENT OF TAXES
Pay your house tax, light tax and other tax dues before 31/3/2016 and avoid fine for the following financial year. The Panchayat had issued Demand bills in April 2015 and were provided a years time to clear dues for 2015-16. The due date is nearing and the Panchayat is in the process of levying fine on arrears pending as on 31/3/2016. The gram sabha members are constantly raising the issue of huge arrears and seeking panchayats action in recovering the same. The members also complain that the Assesses who are not paying their tax in time are left scot free without punishment and there is no responsibility on the part of the residents to pay the tax dues on time. The Payments of taxes can be made through Cash, Cheque(http://vpnavelim.com/cheque-payments/), and NEFT(http://vpnavelim.com/neft-payments/). The Payments can be made in the Office during 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all working days. Confirm your NEFT payments from V.P. Office. All are requested to pay through the available modes and help us to reduce the arrears which is Rupees twenty lakhs. Kindly pay your taxes in time and ensure timely uniform development of your village.
