Inauguration Function of desilting of river sal was held on 19/1/2016 in the hands of Hon`ble Chief Minister of Goa, Shri. Laximikant Pasekar in the presence of Hon`ble Minister for Fisheries and Labour and Fisheries, Shri. Avertano Furtado, Sarpanch, V.P. Navelim Shri. Frank Fernandes and other dinitaries. It was along felt need to free the river of its silt and make the same navigable. Reliable sources are to be believed then we will have a navigation course from Margao to Betul.
