The Door to Door collection of Garbage (plastics), is being undertaken by this Panchayat on the respective days in the respective wards of Navelim Village as per the schedule. The Residents are requested to segregate the wet and dry garbage at source and provide clean plastics to the Panchayat. The wet garbage needs to be compost within one`s premises and through Vermi composting and the same should not be scattered / thrown in the open areas, Paddy fields, River Banks and road sides to avoid fines. Glass bottles/metals need to be separately kept whereas the Pads and nappies of young and old should be disposed in one`s own compound/complex through proper methods.
